Ever feel a bit out of touch with your gut instincts? Like that inner voice or clear insight has just disappeared?

In a world that constantly screams for our attention, hearing our soul's whisper can feel impossible. The good news is, you can learn to identify these 'energy leaks' and plug them, allowing your true intuitive guidance to shine through.
So, how do you tell the difference between overthinking and genuine intuition?
• Overthinking is described as a "total vibe killer". Your brain can generate around 70,000 thoughts a day, much of which is just "static" random flashes, worries, old programming, or self-doubt disguised as logic. These thoughts are often loud and chaotic.
• Intuition, on the other hand, is clear. It feels distinct, like it drops in from "somewhere else entirely". It can be clean, direct, almost electric, sometimes even causing a physical tingle. My intuition often hits the right side of her brain and feels like it comes from above.
It’s a 'knowing', not just a thought, arriving. It's felt in your cells and comes from a different part of your consciousness. For me, things become still for a moment, and my question is now something I can trust.
The first step to shifting from overthinking to intuition is to pause and ask yourself: "What would my intuition say if I actually trusted myself right now?".
This simple question can be a powerful catalyst for change and can be answered by asking your higher self a simple yes or no question.

Ignoring Your Body's Signals
Your body is your primary intuitive tool. If you're constantly tired, anxious, wired, or numb, your inner signal is scrambled.
Trying to receive clear guidance when your nervous system is in survival mode is like trying to have a deep conversation in the middle of a noisy crowd, distracting, overwhelming, and nearly impossible to focus."
The Fix: Listen to Your Body Like It's an Antenna.
• Ask it questions: Notice where you feel tight, drained, or lit up.
• Prioritise foundational wellness:
Movement, rest, grounding, and hydration aren't just general health tips; they're "energetic tuning forks for your psychic clarity".
• Support brain health:
Consider clearing your pineal gland through clean eating, vitamins, and natural tools that aid decalcification. I personally uses a tincture called "Pineal Guardian" for memory, mental clarity, and overall brain health.

Your pineal gland is your spiritual antenna, don’t let it stay clogged.

When your body feels safe, your intuition gets loud; when your body feels seen, your soul speaks up.
Physical discomfort like a tense gut or tight back isn't just physical, it's spiritual feedback. Pay attention, and the intuitive downloads will follow.
Allowing Others to Drain Your Energy
Have you ever left a conversation feeling drained, uninspired, or simply "off"? That's not a coincidence; it's vital information. Your energetic boundaries are crucial for intuitive clarity.
The Fix: Protect Your Vibe, it's Sacred.
• Conscious Shifts:
If you're into energy work and personal growth, you might find that you don't connect with people like you used to.
This can be one of the tougher parts of spiritual work, but it's totally worth it. You'll push through and end up with real spiritual breakthroughs.
• Choose better company:
At times, the best choice is to surround yourself with people who elevate you.
Naturally, you might outgrow a group of friends without any drama; this simply indicates that your spirit has "outgrown the container," and it's time to seek a new 'tribe' that resonates with who you are becoming.
Often, friends and family may not grasp your personal growth journey, nor do they need to. This journey is personal and should remain close to your heart and soul.
It doesn't need to be shared with others, as people around you might not support your growth and may prefer you to remain unchanged because it comforts them. This is why it should be your journey alone.

Endless Digital Scrolling
We've all been there: one minute you're scrolling through TikTok, Reels, or Shorts like a social media ninja, and the next, you're feeling as crispy as a burnt toast, wondering why you need a nap after a whole lot of nothing.
This digital binge-watching marathon "drains your intuitive battery" and leaves you "energetically pooped".
Be Intentional with Your Scrolling.
• Scroll with purpose: Choose content that genuinely "lights you up".
• Seek inspiration: Opt for micro-learning, soul-expanding content, or anything that truly inspires creativity. When you feed your mind with content that sparks creativity, you'll feel energised instead of empty, the difference is "night and day".
People-Pleasing

Are you a people-pleaser, saying "yes" when your gut is screaming "hell no"?
This is identified as one of the fastest ways to disconnect from your intuition.
Every time you agree to something that feels off just to avoid disappointing someone, you're "turning down the volume on your inner truth".
Embrace Your Sovereignty.
• Honesty is Key:
Your intuition thrives on honesty, not just with others, but fundamentally with yourself.
• Avoid Energetic Self-Betrayal:
While people-pleasing might feel like protection in the moment, it creates a "subtle form of burnout" because you're leaking energy to things that don't serve you.
• Protect Your "Yes":
Saying "no" doesn't make you selfish; it makes you sovereign. When your 'no' is clear, your 'yes' becomes "powerful, magnetic and fully aligned".
Treat Your Energy as Sacred Real Estate
Ultimately, the most profound tip is to start treating your energy like "sacred real estate".
Before you allocate your time, attention, or vibe to anyone or anything, ask yourself a crucial question: "Is this nourishing me or draining me?".
Your intuition will provide a fast "yes" or "no" answer; you just need to trust it.
