Auras are not visible to most people. However, some individuals can perceive them without any aid. This strong energy field serves as a protective barrier against negative energies, illness, and even EMF frequencies.


We inhabit a world that often seeks to drain our energy.


With this understanding, you can always maintain a protective shield. At any time and place, a single thought can activate this shield.

The Moment I Knew My Aura Was Real


Almost 20 years ago, I began practicing aura meditation. On one particular day, I received confirmation of its effectiveness.


My day started with a morning aura meditation, which left me feeling refreshed and invigorated. After meditating, I decided to stop at Tim's for a coffee. Normally, I would use the drive-thru, but this day was different; I went inside because the line was too long.


The coffee shop was bustling—every table occupied, with conversations all around.


As I stood in line, calmness gradually settled over the area, and the noise diminished. Being highly sensitive after my meditation, I could perceive this subtle shift.


To my astonishment, people began gazing in my direction. It felt surreal, as if I were having an out-of-body experience. Everyone seemed to be focused on me—not because I was a celebrity or did anything out of the ordinary.


In that moment, I realized that people could perceive the aura I had cultivated before leaving home.


Although it lasted only a few seconds, it was utterly fascinating. It highlighted how deeply connected we are to the energies of others.


That day marked the beginning of my commitment to consistently expanding and safeguarding my aura in my daily routine.


With my coffee in hand and a renewed bounce in my step, I affirmed the importance of this practice in my spiritual journey.


When our aura is strong and balanced, we feel vibrant, clear-headed, and at peace.


However, when it is weak or damaged, we become vulnerable to negative energies and thoughts, which can affect us mentally, emotionally, and physically.


Thus, knowing how to cleanse and protect our aura is essential for maintaining our health.


What is Your Aura & Why Should You Care?


Your aura is an energy field that surrounds your body, resembling an oval, spherical, or egg-shaped cocoon.


It functions as a second skin, shielding our energy system much like physical skin protects our inner organs.


A healthy aura extends at least one foot in all directions. It is composed of bright colors, strong vibrations, and a full, smooth boundary.



This protective field acts as a barrier between our personal energy and the energy around us.


Unfortunately, during significant shifts and widespread fears, our auras may become fragile.


Fear is a primary factor that causes our aura to weaken. Additionally, the constant negative information from news and social media can further compromise our energetic field, making us more susceptible to anxiety and emotional exhaustion.


A weak aura can also jeopardize our physical health, making us more vulnerable to viruses.





How to Perceive Auras


Enhance your ability to see auras by practicing these steps:


  1. Get a healthy plant.

  2. Place the plant in front of a white surface, like a wall or a piece of white paper.

  3. Dim the lights until the room is quite dark and free from reflections.

  4. Sit in front of the plant.

  5. Light a candle behind you.

  6. Choose a leaf, and focus on its edge.

  7. Gradually let your gaze extend beyond the leaf as if you're staring through the white background.

  8. Initially, you'll see a thin, bright line along the leaf's edge.

  9. Then, notice the energy appearing as a shifting cloud.

10. Experiment with this technique on a pet or animal, starting with the head.


Once you begin to perceive auras, you’ll find that you can always see them.


Cleansing Your Aura and Releasing Negativity


Before effectively shielding your aura, it's crucial to cleanse it by removing accumulated negative energies.


Here are several techniques to purify your energy:


  • Smudging: Burning sage, palo santo, or incense can cleanse unwanted energies from your home and energetic field.


  • Repeat affirmations such as, “If you are not love and light, leave my space/home now.”


  • Candles: Lighting candles with the intention to clear your space can be very effective. Allow the candle to burn out naturally.


  • Visualization: Imagine a white light cleansing your energetic field as you inhale deeply, filling your space with this light.


  • Salt: A hot salt bath or sprinkling salt in your home can naturally cleanse energy. Use sea salt for best results.


  • Nature Therapy: Walking barefoot, hugging a tree, or just being outdoors can refresh and purify your aura. While in nature, attempt to perceive the aura of trees and plants; it's truly remarkable.


  • Releasing Negativity: Write down emotions, situations, or people you need to let go of, then burn the paper as a symbolic act of release.


Shielding Your Aura and Strengthening Your Energy Field


Once cleansed, the next step is strengthening your aura against external negativity. Here are powerful protection techniques:


  • White Light Cloak: Visualize a protective cloak made of white light surrounding your body, safeguarding you from harm—especially useful before entering crowded spaces.


  • Golden Shield: Imagine golden light entering through your crown chakra, while pink light rises from your feet. Visualize this golden light creating a cocoon around you, absorbing all negativity.


  • Setting Boundaries: Learn to say “no” without guilt, and limit your interactions with toxic individuals. Envision a force field when dealing with challenging people.


  • Grounding Techniques: Walk barefoot, hug a tree, consume grounding foods like root vegetables, or practice deep breathing to stay centered.


  • Crystals & Stones: Utilize protective stones to shield your aura. Some effective options are:


- Shungite: Protects against EMFs and boosts energy.

- Obsidian: Transforms negativity and shields from harm.

- Black Tourmaline: Cleanses energy and balances emotions.

- Selenite: Known for pure white light and ideal for energy cleansing.


  • Cutting Energy Cords: If someone drains your energy, visualize a connecting cord and imagine cutting it with golden scissors while saying, “I release you with love and light.”


  • Then, envelop your aura with blue or silver light for additional protection.

Daily Practices to Strengthen Your Aura


In addition to cleansing and shielding, ongoing practices can keep your aura strong and vibrant.


  • Imagining a Happy Place: Visualize a peaceful and joyful scene to instantly uplift your spirit.


  • Expanding Your Aura: Rub your hands together to generate energy, then slowly move them apart while envisioning a white ball of energy between them. Expand that ball to fill any gaps in your aura.


  • Practicing Self-Love: Build self-esteem through self-care and positive affirmations.


  • Aligning with Higher Vibrations: Meditate, listen to uplifting music, and surround yourself with positive individuals to maintain your aura's vitality.



Your energy is your most valuable asset. Just as you wouldn’t loan out your car easily, don't allow negativity to hijack your mood or mental space.


Protecting your aura is not solely about avoiding negativity; it’s a vital part of maintaining your well-being.


By incorporating cleansing and protection methods into your daily routine, you empower yourself to navigate the energetic world with clarity and resilience.


So set those boundaries, shield yourself, and walk through life as the radiant being you are. And if all else fails? Smudge the room and take a nap. 😉
